Horrible Port

Running this game on Windows 7 through Bootcamp I can run it on High/Ultra settings with UberSampling turned off. I love Mac more than anything and am completely against Windows, but when it comes to gaming Mac gets it wrong. I can only run this game on Medium while running Mac OS and even then it feels a bit more sluggish. This is a game that shouldnt be taken in unless you can run it on High or above as it is gorgeous!

Also on the Mac version some of the keys cannot be remapped. This for me was an issue as the F5 quick save key constantly opens Launchpad and does not save the game. The quick save function for me will not remap. I have a R.A.T. 7 gaming mouse and while running it on the Mac version my Witcher 2 mouse profile will not work ingame. It works fine on the Windows version.

Im running 10.8.2 and have not come across any of the "game not installing" or "game not running" issues. Although with the game defaulting to High settings on video from my computers specs and only being able to barely handle medium, I would say something went wrong in this port. I for one am emailing Apple asking for a refund. Game was bought and downloaded yesterday, uninstalled a day later. I will continue to play it through Bootcamp.
